Day Treatment
Day treatment is a mental health service that focuses on reducing symptoms associated with each consumer’s individual diagnosis so they can successfully reintegrate back into the school environment. This service is designed for children and adolescents between the ages of 5 and 20 years old. The treatment day is comprised of therapeutic groups around relaxation skills, coping skills, life skills, art expression, health and movement and an Evidence Based Treatment Group (CBT, SPARCS, or DBT)
Intensive Outpatient Therapy
Intensive Outpatient Services (IOP) is a short term, facility based, structured outpatient program for individuals who often experience crisis symptoms.
- This service is comprised of individual, family, and group treatment.
- Services are provided 2–3 hours per day and 3–5 days per week.
- Services will become less frequent as symptoms are reduced.
- Typical length of stay is 30 days with a step down to basic outpatient therapy.
Partial Hospitalization
PHP assists the consumer in transitioning from one service to another (an inpatient setting to a community-based service) or preventing hospitalization.
- This service provides a broad array of intensive approaches, which include group and individual activities.
- The service is ideal for consumers discharging from the hospital or stepping down from acute care or PRTF.
- The service can also be a diversion to hospitalization for consumers who are in crisis but do not meet the criteria for hospitalization.
- Typical length of stay for PHP is 7–14 days. During this time a CCA is completed, then recommendation for services are made and coordinated for the family.
